How do you become a volunteer firefighter?

If you are interested in joining the Willow Creek Volunteer Fire Department, you are in the right place. The first step is to come and join us at the fire hall, where we meet every Tuesday at 6pm. The fire hall is located behind Ray's Foodplace at 51 Willow Road in Willow Creek, CA.

Once you attend 6 meetings, the department pays for you to get a DMV physical (which can be done right here in Willow Creek) to make sure you're healthy enough to exert yourself as a volunteer firefighter. The physical is not a big deal, and almost everyone passes. After attending a minimum of 12 meetings, the membership votes on whether or not to invite the prospective member on to the department.

We are always looking for dedicated individuals who are committed to serving our community. Click the button below to fill out the interest form.
