About Willow Creek Fire

Our History

The Willow Creek Volunteer Fire Department was founded in 1957 after structure fires destroyed half of the business corridor. A group of the original volunteers' petitioned the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors, and in 1959, the Willow Creek Fire Protection District was formed.
